Ingredients:
1 lb (450g) ground beef
4 medium-sized potatoes, peeled and diced
1 medium onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup beef broth
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon paprika
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
Prepare the Ingredients:
Peel and dice the potatoes into small cubes.
Chop the onion and mince the garlic.
Cook the Ground Beef:
In a large skillet or frying pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, sautéing until the onion becomes translucent (about 3-4 minutes).
Add the ground beef to the skillet, breaking it apart with a spatula. Cook until browned, approximately 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat if necessary.
Add the Potatoes:
Once the beef is browned, add the diced potatoes to the skillet. Stir well to combine.
Season and Simmer:
Pour in the beef broth and sprinkle in the dried oregano, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix everything together.
Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to low. Cover the skillet and let it simmer for about 20-25 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender, stirring occasionally.
Serve:
Once the potatoes are fully cooked, taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
Garnish with fresh parsley if desired, and serve hot.
Enjoy your delicious Ground Beef and Potatoes meal!
