Taco Ranch Bites Recipe
Ingredients:
1 lb (450g) ground beef
1 packet taco seasoning
1 cup ranch dressing
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup crushed tortilla chips
1/2 cup diced tomatoes
1/2 cup sliced black olives (optional)
1/4 cup chopped green onions
1 package (12 oz) mini phyllo shells or wonton wrappers
Fresh cilantro for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Cook the Ground Beef:
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain any excess fat.
Add the taco seasoning to the beef, following the packet instructions (usually adding water and simmering for a few minutes). Set aside.
Prepare the Filling:
In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked beef mixture with ranch dressing, shredded cheddar cheese, diced tomatoes, black olives (if using), and chopped green onions. Mix until well combined.
Fill the Shells:
Place the mini phyllo shells or wonton wrappers on a baking sheet.
Spoon the taco ranch filling into each shell, filling them generously.
Top with Tortilla Chips:
Sprinkle crushed tortilla chips on top of each filled shell for added crunch.
Bake:
Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the shells are golden and crispy.
Garnish and Serve:
Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes.
Garnish with fresh cilantro if desired and serve warm.
