Crock Pot Taco Spaghetti Recipe
Ingredients:
1 lb (450g) ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 packet taco seasoning
1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoes with green chilies
1 can (8 oz) tomato sauce
1 cup beef broth
8 oz spaghetti noodles
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh cilantro for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
Brown the Ground Beef:
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain any excess fat.
Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, cooking until the onion is translucent (about 3-4 minutes).
Combine Ingredients in the CrockPot:
Transfer the browned beef mixture to the CrockPot.
Stir in the taco seasoning, diced tomatoes with green chilies, tomato sauce, and beef broth. Mix well.
Cook in the CrockPot:
Cover the CrockPot and cook on low for 4 hours or on high for 2 hours.
Add the Spaghetti:
After the cooking time, break the uncooked spaghetti noodles in half and add them to the CrockPot. Stir to combine.
Cover and cook on high for an additional 30 minutes, or until the spaghetti is tender.
Finish and Serve:
Once the spaghetti is cooked, stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until melted and well combined.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Garnish with fresh cilantro if desired and serve hot.
