The Local Legislative Award (LLA) is an initiative that recognizes and promotes excellence in local legislation among Sangguniang Panlalawigan, Sangguniang Panlungsod, and Sangguniang Bayan. The program aims to highlight exemplary legislative practices that contribute to responsive governance, local development, and the overall welfare of communities.

Through a structured evaluation process, the program assesses the performance of local legislative bodies based on the quality of enacted ordinances, legislative effectiveness, administrative support to legislation, and the impact of policies on the community. It encourages local legislators to adopt innovative, relevant, and sustainable policies that address the needs of their constituents.

By recognizing outstanding legislative performance, the LLA Program strengthens the capacity of local legislative bodies, fosters a culture of excellence and accountability, and promotes the sharing of best practices in local governance.
