Spaceship Earth

Spaceship Earth receives a much needed refurbishment fixing many of the broken animatronics bringing the ride to its opening day glory. The projections in the beginning of the ride have been converted into HD allowing for crisp visuals. Neil deGrasse Tyson has been selected as the new narrator for Spaceship Earth. Utilizing the built in screens international guests can change the language to Spanish, Portuguese, French, Chinese and Japanese. Guests may also turn on closed captioning for the ride at any moment on the screen.

The descent has been updated from the old starfield experience to now featuring scenes depicting the future of communication like holograms which uses an effect similar to that of Rey in the Rise of Resistance preshow. Another future technology shown off is scent based communication, a man is hooked up to a machine where he thinks of a scent and it is pumped out. The scent communicates a place he is thinking of. The final setup in the descent is telepathic communication where two figures wear comically large helmets, and guests can hear their conversation!

The American Adventure

The American Adventure is considered by many to be Imagineering's magnum opus when it comes to theme park shows. However over time something viewed as perfect may need update itself to stay relevant, and this is one of those instances. The Golden Dreams montage towards the end of the attraction will be redone to include even more American citizens from a variety of backgrounds. Some familiar faces will include:

- Ruth Bader Ginsburg, former Supreme Court Justice

- Rita Moreno

- Bruce Lee

- Marsha P. Johnson

- Cecilia Chung

- Lin Manuel Miranda

- Jim Thorpe

- Selena Quintanilla

- and many more influential people

Along with the montage update projections will bring to the life the various statues in the wings of the theater with various colors to help portray their real life counterparts. This will occur during the Golden Dreams montage as well.
