Handprints at The Chinese Theater

A often looked over detail is finally getting some love at Disney's Hollywood Studios with the with first new handprints, feet prints, and signatures since Michael J Fox in 1999! Which means for the first time in over 22 years new blocks will premiere in the Chinese Theater courtyard! Selections for new blocks include the following celebrities:

In addition to the first 6 blocks debuting on October 1st, guests can vote for another three to debut midway through the anniversary and another guest vote to debut the final three additions at the end of the anniversary. Voting will be done for a list of 40 major celebrities and guests can choose the three they want to be included each time via in park digital polls, through the MyDisneyExperience app, or on the Walt Disney World website.

The Hall of Toons

Due to the closure of Maroon Studios, the ABC Commissary was shuttered and transformed into The Hall of Toons. The exterior of the building will physically stay the same, but a new color scheme of white, teal, gold and silver help to make the building give off the aura of being part of the Los Angeles Art Deco architectural style. The sign of the building sees the ABC logo replaced with a silver mickey head, and lettering of Hall of Toons going down the sign. Signs beneath this large marquee divide guests between getting in line for Mickey and Fiends or Donald and Friends.

Like said previously guests can enter two lines to either Mickey and Friends or Donald and Friends; before entering guests will be able to see that with Mickey is Minnie and Pluto while Goofy and Daisy meet with Donald. The queue for the meet and greet location will have various posters for cartoons starring these characters, and will be separate by a half wall allowing for guests to take in the art for both sides of the queue. The queue progresses into the former kitchen and ordering area which has it's ceiling raised and a movie screen installed which plays classic cartoons with these characters in them. Guests will then enter the room for their respective meet and greet. The meet and greets will be held in the former areas for the left or right dining room depending on which character set guests queued for, and the exits will be the same exits from when the building was still ABC Commissary.

The meet and greets will be similar in setup to the former Character Spot with three characters in a row all with unique backgrounds behind them. This continues as not only do the characters meet in front of special backgrounds, but for the most part they all wear special costumes that match the setting.

- Mickey is in his Sorcerer's outfit and meets in front of a background representing Yensid's Tower.

- Minnie is in her Hawaiian outfit and in front of a background depicting Hawai'i from Hawaiian Vacation/

- Pluto is just Pluto, but he's in front of a background representing The Picnic.

- Donald Duck is dressed his robes from the Pomp and Circumstance scene in Fantasia 2000, and his background is Noah's Ark.

- Daisy Duck is dressed in a green and red shawl and a red castanet on her head reminiscent to her appearance in Don Donald. Her backdrop is of the Mexican town from Don Donald.

- Goofy is dressed in winter garb with skies to the side and his background is from The Art of Skiing.

Surprise Characters

Encounter Short Film Stars

Throughout Sunset Boulevard guests are running into plenty of short film stars from a bygone era, keep an eye out for:

- Clarice, making her Walt Disney World meet and greet debut, from Two Chips and a Miss

- Clara Cluck from The Wise Little Hen

- The Big Bad Wolf from The Three Little Pigs

- Oswald the Lucky Rabbit from Trolley Troubles

Encounter Intergalactic Travelers

Throughout Star Wars: Tatooine Spaceport guests are running out encountering quite a few intergalactic travelers, look out for:

- Greedo

- Chewbacca

- Boba Fett
