Epcot Entrance Plaza
Just in time for 50th Anniversary is the revitalized Epcot entrance plaza. Lush gardens filled shrubbery, flowers and trees doe the entrance plaza giving the entrance a greener more welcoming feeling than the cold Leave A Legacy monuments cold achieve. The opening day Epcot fountain in front of Spaceship Earth has returned in all of its plexiglass glory. Flanking each side of the plaza are flag poles flying flags that contain each pavilion's logo. At night pulsating light strips circle all around the plaza and illuminate the area in color changing gradients.
Epcot Spine
The Epcot Spine is the area behind Spaceship Earth which formerly contained the Fountain of Nations. Phase 1 of the Epcot Spine opened in time for the anniversary. This phase includes Epcot Eats, a new quick service experience, Club Cool, Starbucks Bakery & Cafe, and a brand shopping experience with the Creations Shop all with a modern and open layout allowing for easy shopping. Pathways connecting World Discover and Nature through the spine have also opened allowing for an easier guest flow. Construction still continues in the area with Phase 2 opening at a later date.
Space 220
After many, many delays Space 220 has finally opened to guests as the first table service dining location in World Discovery. To experience Space 220 guests will board "a space elevator" that simulates guests going all the way up into the International Space Station. Upon arrival guests are seated and can enjoy views of a rotating space environment with out of this world meals and drinks!
Remy's Ratatouille Adventure
Debuting with the anniversary Remy's Ratatouille Adventure opens at the France Pavilion located in World Showcase. Guest are invited on this bilingual ride through the kitchens of Paris as Remy scrambles to get ingredients to open up his own restaurant!
La Crêperie de Paris
La Crêperie de Paris is a new restaurant offering both table and quick service dining options. The menu will feature sweet crepes, savory buckwheat galettes, and authentic French hard cider.
Harmonious
Debuting on the World Showcase Lagoon is the latest Epcot nighttime spectacular, Harmonious. Harmonious will be the largest nighttime spectacular ever created for a Disney park. It will celebrate how the music of Disney inspires people the world over, carrying you away harmoniously on a stream of familiar Disney tunes reinterpreted by a diverse group of artists from around the globe. Harmonious will feature massive floating set pieces, custom-built LED panels, choreographed moving fountains, lights, pyrotechnics, lasers and more.
