Shock magic spells now increase the cast time of the effected target: 20-60%, depending on level of spell.
New Destruction Spell Types
Wind magic
Elemental, only resisted by magic resistance.
Has a stamina cost in addition to magicka.
Lowers attack damage of affected enemies for a few seconds.
The specialization perk adds an additional effect of lowering enemies' magic resistance.
Abyssal magic
Non-elemental, only resisted by magic resistance.
Deals damage over time, stacks over successive casts.
Lowers enemy magic resistance for a few seconds. This effect does not stack and does not increase if you empower the spell. However, it IS amplified by effects that increase the magnitude of spells.
Blood magic
Non-elemental, only resisted by magic resistance.
Costs health in addition to magicka.
Arcane magic
Non-elemental, not resisted by magic resistance. However, targets with high enough magic resistance will ignore the effects of the spell completely. Threshold for each spell is listed in its description, higher level spells have a higher threshold.
