Ephesians 3:14-19
A Prayer for the Ephesians
14 For this reason I kneel before the Father, 15 from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name. 16 I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, 17 so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, 18 may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, 19 and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.

God is Love
8 Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.
Faith and love are very much related...When I speak of faith, in this context, I am thinking about faith in our LORD...Since God is love, faith and love -then have to be related...But when you try to define faith, it is difficult...When one has faith in God, it is difficult to put into words (at least) for me, to write about what faith actually is...It is like trying to define and write about love...We know love exists...And we know faith in God exists...We love our spouses, our families, our friends, and others...We cannot see it, but we know it is there...We know that faith exists, because since the beginning of time man, at least most men have had a faith in God, and a Creator...We cannot see it, but we know it is there...
Love exists, but we cannot see it...Love maybe easier to believe exists, because we can feel it...Love can be felt...St. Paul gives us the great definition of love in 1 Corinthians 13...Words and verses like patience, kind, does not envy, doe not boast, not self-seeking, perseveres, trusts, protects, forgiving, and always hopes are used in describing love...Some of the words that come to mind about faith are similar to the ones used in love...Words and verses like hope, trust, belief, unseen, comforting, protects, perseverance, forgiving, and always hopes can be used in describing faith....We can have rough days with our loved ones and we can have rough days with our faith in God...
Faith works through and by love...Faith strengthens our love...The stronger our faith, the stronger we can love...Therefore, faith strengthens one's ability to love, as love strengthens one's faith in God...Faith and love overlap more that we think, and it has to -because God is Love...To have faith in God, we must be able to love...Because whoever does not have faith, does not know the Father, and does not know or have love -because God is LOVE...
