1 Corinthians 1:10-17
Corinthians Divided Over Their Leaders
13 Is Christ divided? Was Paul crucified for you? Were you baptized in the name of Paul? 14 I thank God that I did not baptize any of you except Crispus and Gaius, 15 so no one can say that you were baptized in my name. 16 (Yes, I also baptized the household of Stephanas; beyond that, I don’t remember if I baptized anyone else.) 17 For Christ did not send me to baptize, but to preach the gospel—not with wisdom and eloquence, lest the cross of Christ be emptied of its power.
1 John 4:8
God is LOVE
8 Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.
St. Paul wrote to the Corinthians about being divided over their beliefs and their faith...He encouraged them to united...Jesus sent St. Paul to preach the gospel and the gospel is to get people to follow Jesus...
We do not have to agree with others to love them...And let us not go so far have our beliefs divide us...
The world would have more harmony if we were not divided about our faith and our beliefs...Even in St. Paul's time there were differing views about one's faith and who they should follow...There are different religions and people have different beliefs...People of different denominations are a little bit different in their views and ideas of the Bible can meet and still be in fellowship...People of different religions differ a little more on their beliefs...If you believe that God is LOVE as St. John writes then we all can meet in love and be together...And when we are in this shared fellowship, we can see how many shared views we have in common about our beliefs and our faith...And by sharing our beliefs, we can become more united in mind and thought...
