God is LOVE
7 Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. 8 Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.

The Greatest Commandment
36 "Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?" 37 Jesus replied: " 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' 40 All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.
Jesus teaches us that the Two Greatest Commandments are to love God and to love our neighbor...It is love that give us the Two Greatest Commandments in life...It is by loving God and loving neighbor that we come closest to our soul and maybe closest to our indwelt Holy Spirit...For love is the greatest virtue on earth...It is the loving of God that makes life more fulfilled...It is the loving of God and neighbor that makes life more blessed...It is by loving God and neighbor that gets us closer to our Father...
Author and Christian minister, George MacDonald wrote, “It is by loving, and not by being loved, that one can come nearest the soul of another; yea, that, where two love, it is the loving of each other, that originates and perfects and assures their blessedness...I knew that love gives to him that loveth, power over over any soul be loved, even if that soul know him not, bringing him inwardly close to that spirit; a power that cannot be but for good; for in proportion as selfishness intrudes, the love ceases, and the power which springs therefrom dies...Yet all love will, one day, meet with its return. ”...
Love is Spiritual, Divine, and Eternal because God is LOVE...
