In addition to the Shop Orientation, you must receive Proficiency Training from Shop staff before using the miter saw.
This miter saw is best used for crosscutting pieces to length and cutting miter and bevel angles. For example, cutting 45° angles to make a picture frame.
The miter saw can cut material that is a maximum of 13 inches (33 cm) wide or narrower stock up to 4 inches (10 cm) thick. It can cut miters up to 52° left and 60° right, and bevels up to 47° left or right.
