Who can use the shear? 

In addition to the Shop Orientation, you must receive Proficiency Training from Shop staff before using the shear. 

What are shears used for?

This guillotine-style shear makes straight cuts in sheet metal and some plastics. 

What are the clearances? 

The shear can cut material up to 36" (91cm) wide and up to 16 gauge thick (0.06", 1.5 mm).
