In addition to the Shop Orientation, you must receive Proficiency Training from Shop staff before using the drill presses.
Drill presses make holes in wood, metal, and plastics using a variety of different types and sizes of drill bits.
The five drill presses in the Shop have 15"-17" (38-43 cm) swing as well as height- and angle-adjustable tables. All but the Delta 17-900 have depth stops.
The Shop provides a range of twist bits (1/16" to 1/2"), paddle bits, and Forstner bits, as well as countersinks and a smaller selection of specialty bits including plastic, masonry, and brad point.
