Who can use the hot wire cutter? 

In addition to the Shop Orientation, you must receive Proficiency Training from Shop staff before using the hot wire cutter.

What is the hot wire cutter used for?

The wire cutter can cut most foams, some plastics, and some textiles. 

Note: the hot wire cutter must be used in the ventillated spray booth as some materials may produce harmful fumes.
