Who can use the spot welder? 

In addition to the Shop Orientation, you must receive Proficiency Training from Shop staff before using the spot welder. 

What is the spot welder used for?

Spot welders apply pressure and electric current to weld thin sheet metal pieces together.

What are the clearances? 

The welder has a 6-3/4" (17 cm) throat and a maximum combined thickness capacity of 1/8" (3 mm) mild steel.
