In addition to the Shop Orientation, you must receive Proficiency Training from Shop staff before using the bandsaws.

The larger 2013B bandsaws have a 20" (50 cm) throat and a max cutting height of 18" (45 cm). The table tilts 45° right and 10° left. The Shop typically provides a 1/2" (12 mm) wide blade, which can cut a minimum radius of about 1-1/2" (38mm).
The small 141 bandsaw has a 14" (35 cm) throat and a max cutting height of 6-1/2" (16 cm). The table tilts 45° right and 12° left. The Shop typically provides a 1/4" (6 mm) wide blade, which can cut a minimum radius of about 1/4" (6mm).
The Delta 28-206 bandsaw has a 13" (33cm) throat and a max cutting height of 5-1/2" (14 cm). The table tilts 45° right and 12° left. The Shop typically provides a 1/4" (6 mm) wide blade, which can cut a minimum radius of about 1/4" (6mm).
Common materials include solid wood, engineered wood, some plastics, some foams, and paper products like cardboard and matboard. No metal may be cut on the bandsaws. See packet for full list of restrictions. Materials subject to approval of shop staff.
