Dr. Kwon has been selected as the recipient of the 2020 Early Career Research Award

For excellence in research within the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Alberta

The Faculty Research Awards are awarded to those faculty members who display excellence in their early to mid-career as a researcher and professor in the Faculty of Engineering. In total, there are three awards categories given out by the Faculty of Engineering and they are the: Early-Career Research Award, Mid-Career Research Award, and Research Career Award. This is done only once per year and each award category can be held only ONCE during a career.
