- 1 Unit - English IV or AP English Literature & Composition

- 1 Unit - Algebra III, Advanced Math Functions & Statistics, Advanced Math Pre-Calculus, Calculus

- 1 Unit - Biology I
- 1 Unit - Chemistry I
- 2 Units (choose 2) - Environmental Science, Physical Science or PLTW Principles of Engineering, Physics, Biology II, Chemistry II

Scheduling Guidelines
Scheduling Guidelines
- Freshmen, Sophomores, and Juniors must carry a full schedule (Exception: Juniors in Marketing or Dual Enrollment courses may get out early to go to class or to work.)
- Vocal and Instrumental Music must be scheduled for the full year in order to participate in Choir or Band.
- Only 4 Units of Physical Education count toward the 24/23 units needed for graduation.
- Honors courses may only be scheduled if a student has been placed in the honors program based on placement guidelines.
Dual Enrollment
Dual Enrollment
Any sophomore (by counselor approval), junior, or senior who is on track to graduate with the TOPS University curriculum may earn college and high school elective credit simultaneously during the school year by participating in a college dual enrollment program. Placement in course requires a composite score of 18 or higher in English and a 19 or higher in Math components of the ACT. The maximum number of courses in which a student may be dually enrolled is dependent on GPA and ACT scores. For questions or concerns, see your high school counselor.
