WELDING I (3 UNITS—PREFERENCE IN SCHEDULING TO JR. & SR.)
WELDING II (3 UNITS—PREFERENCE IN SCHEDULING TO JR. & SR.)(3 UNIT Prerequisite Welding I)
Students learn the following basic skills: Cutting oxy/acetylene-P, Plasma cutting, Arc gouging SMAW (shielded metal arc welding), GMAW (gas metal arc welding), GTAW (gas tungsten arc welding), FCAW (flux core arc welding), Brazing, basic fitting, and good working habits and ways to become successful in industry. Students are taught the basic skills they need to become valuable employees in local industry.
Course Credentials
Course Credentials
Student can earn IBC’s from the National Center of Construction Research as a Level 1 Welding and Level 2 Welding.
