What an amazing week we had celebrating the fact that we get to not only learn the academics at Trinity but we also get to learn about God and how we are sent to serve Him!
We really focused on different daily themes and spend time virtually traveling to Thailand every day!
Monday - We learned how Jesus was sent to serve. We studied different Bible stories where Jesus served others. We learned how we can be like Him and find small ways to help others around us, even when we are feeling small or too young to do anything important.
Tuesday - We learned how pastors and teachers are sent to serve. We learned about the importance of sharing God's word with others. We also practiced showing gratitude to those around us by creating cards for the different people around campus that help out to keep Trinity running smoothly.
Wednesday - We learned how we are serving together on God's Team. It takes the whole team of Christians to come together and serve others. When we work together as a team we can accomplish even more than just working at it alone. We worked together as a team to come up with a Trinity Cheer!
Thursday - We learned about serving in our home and community. We want to be like Jesus and help those around us the best we can. We also want to take care of where we live, our home, our neighborhood, our school, our community. We took some time to clean up our playground area at school. There were lots of weeds, leaves, sticks, and even some garbage that we were able to clean up. It felt good to take care of our school.
Friday - We wrapped up the week celebrating that we are sent to serve in the world. We had a special chapel that recapped all the fun we had during the week and gave us a chance to really appreciate how special we are at Trinity. It was also a chance to remind each other that even though NLSW will be over we want to continue to serve at our homes, at our school, in our community, and in the world. It is important to share God's love with everyone!
On our virtual trip to Thailand we got to experience many aspects of their culture. From the foods they enjoy, to how they get around town and shop, to what their schools are like and that only 1% of their population is Christian. We watched videos, did crafts, learned songs, and prayed for those who do not know Jesus in their hearts yet.
12th - Last day of the Kids Heart Challenge
15th - No School in observance of Presidents Day
23rd - Dining for Trinity at Panda Express Mililani
