The patten to work out a triad is - HIT (1st) miss (2nd) HIT (3rd) miss (4th) HIT (4th)

C major triad

If we want to make this into a C minor triad the C (1st) and the G (5th) stay the same and the E (3rd) moves down a semitone to Eb (flat)

Remember: A semitone is the distance between two notes.
