Eraser
September 17, 2018
For my visual drawing, I decided to draw a eraser because there was one right in front of me when I was sketching my drawings out. I just used a pencil and an eraser for this one. I just followed where the label had begun and had ended and just drew the eraser.
I didn't really use a technique except for sharp focus, I focused on the eraser and nothing else in the picture. I didn't change much about this piece throughout the process because I was just sketching around, copying down what I saw.
There isn't much to the story, I was trying to look for something to draw and an eraser caught my eye, so that's what I drew. This drawing relates to my life because I use erasers a lot throughout the day. I would've made it look more 3d, but overall I like the turnout.

Self Portrait
September 17, 2018
The drawing is a self portrait of myself. I used pencil, also known as graphite. I chose to do this because Mrs. Medsker had gave out a paper that told us that we had to draw three things, and I actually chose to draw the self portrait last, knowing it would take up most of my energy and concentration.
I used the rule of thirds tequnique. What I did was I made a line straight down and straight across and built my face structure and eye placement, as well as lip placement whilst using this tequniue. I used a pencil and eraser. I just looked in a mirror and just copied what I saw.
I just put a mirror in front of me, and tried my hardest to draw what I saw. This relates to my life because it is a representation of me. I think that I would change up the eyes and lips, they look uneven.

Corner of My Room
September 17, 2018
The setting of this drawing is just a corner of my room. I used just pencil and an eraser mostly. As you can see it starts with a door on the left side, that is my closet door, then there are windows and lights.
I used the rule of thirds tequnique because what I did was lightly draw a line from top to bottom, then one straight across, then I filled in what I saw in each square. I changed this at least three times, once again placement was a problem for me, but finally I got it right after I hd revised it.
I had a really hard time picking which corner I should use, but I finally chose this one, It's not really interesting though. This drawing relates to my life because I look at this corner everyday. I would have bolded up the lines just a bit, then I would have made it more 3d.
