Colorful Duck

The setting of my project is a duck, that I added a lot of color to, I made it very imaginative or make-believe I guess. I used newspaper and a lot of tape to build the body, I used all paint chips for the color as well as a few pieces of magazine scraps, and lastly I used colored paper for the duck's beak. I created a duck because I planned on giving it to my Dad for Father's Day, but I changed my mind after seeing the ending result.

I used the technique of using materials that I found, like trash, or re-usable things. I didn't change much of anything at all when creating this project because I just kind of went with the flow and when the body came out it looked pretty good.

There wasn't really a story behind my project, I was told to choose an animal and I knew Father's Day was coming up so I decided that a duck would be a good idea, although it didn't turn out the way I expected it to turn out. Growing up my Dad always had ducks around because he hunts ducks a lot and so I thought it would be nice to make him a duck instead of him buying one. I would change the way I put the paint chips on because most of them were basically falling off and they looked really bad. I also would've added feet if I had enough time to figure out how to put them on I would've.
