Linear Perspective

November 13, 2018

The "setting" of these drawings are pretty much just out of pure creativity, except for the buildings, we were told to draw squares in different places on the paper.. Which is what I did. For these drawings I kept it simple and I stuck with graphite. For the living room drawing, I decided to draw this based off of what I would want my house to somewhat look like, the hallway I used was a hallway leading to the new wing.

For the technique of this project, I used linear perspective, using a horizon line and a vanishing point to create doors, and pretty much everything in the rooms. I didn't really change much with the hallway and the buildings, but I did change placement of the furniture in the living room...Many times..

There really aren't stories behind each of these drawings except for the living room drawing, and that story was based off of what I wanted my house to look like... For the most part. I really like decorating and matching things with other things, I like being creative at times as well, so this was really fun to create a room based off of my creativity. I think I would sharpen up lines, I would make things not be in the walls, and I would most likely make things a lot better looking.
