Zoomed Shoe Final Drawing
Graphite Pencil, Watercolor paint, a Gel Pen, Oil pastels, and colored pencil on watercolor paper.
For this artwork, the main idea that guided me through my artwork was creating some sort of scene or abstract art from the zoomed-in part of my shoe.
The material I used for this artwork was a graphite pencil, watercolor paint, gel pen, oil pastels, and colored pencil on watercolor paper. I used the graphite pencil to sketch out my initial drawing of the zoomed-in shoe, then used watercolor to color in everything, next, used the oil pastels to make any shading adjustments, and then afterward, I used the gel pen and colored pencil to make the drawing pop out more.
I began to look at my drawing to figure out whether to make it an abstract artwork or an actual scene. The more I looked the more ideas flew through, and eventually, I thought of going for a space theme. I started by making the bigger lines look like roads crossing through with little UFOs inside. Afterward, for each section split off by the initial sketch, I made different parts of space in each one.
