Realistic Self Portrait

The main idea that guided me through this artwork was the picture I took of myself to make a realistic self-portrait. 

In this artwork the materials I used different
shades of graphite pencils and a tortillon to blend the graphite into the paper better. 

During the process of this artwork, I followed each square of my photo and copied it onto the paper to get each detail. I used the different shades of graphite pencil to get the correct shadows and shades of my photo.
