Mixed Media Drawing

For this artwork, the main idea that guided me through was the picture of my dog  I chose it because I want to gift a picture of my dog. 

The materials I used for this artwork were charcoal sticks, charcoal pencils, a tortillon, and an ink pen. I chose to use charcoal for the main part of my project including charcoal pencils for smaller parts or details. I used a tortillon as well to make sure everything was blended better and easier. Lastly, I used the ink pen to get the even tinier details and make it look more real. 

During the process of this artwork, I  went going square by square to be able to get the right proportions and details of my dog. I used the different charcoals to layer and make different grays.
