Wire Sculpture

The main idea that guided me through this artwork is a toy shark to recreate with wire. I chose this because I like ocean animals and it was a fun animal to make with wire. 

The materials used for this artwork were 18 gauge annealed wire, pliers, and wire cutters to make hooks and connect my wire, making my final project. 

During the process of this artwork, I had to work my way through finding the right way to hook and "knot" the wire together. I made different layers to make my shark be 3D and make it look more round rather than sharp corners.
