Duck Stamp

For this artwork, the main idea that guided me through this was a Fulvous Whistling duck and it's the environment to show these ducks in their natural habitat. 

The materials I used for this artwork were colored pencils, watercolors, and gouache on watercolor paper. Colored pencil and gouache helped me get all the little details for the duck. The watercolor was a good base to put for the colors of this whole artwork. 

During the process of this artwork, I researched all about the Fulvous Whistling duck to understand where its habitat is and what it looks like from different angles.  I chose this duck because its unique colors are cool and I liked to have a simple fresh water background.
