Collage

The main idea that guided me through this artwork was the collage I made with cut-out pieces from magazines and colored paper. 

For this artwork, the materials I used were acrylic paints and paint pens on canvas. I chose to add paint pens to outline some of the cut-outs to make them pop out more and have cleaner lines. 

During the process of this artwork, I had to change around where parts of the cut-outs went to make a design able to paint and put the plain, colored parts near the side to make the detailed cut-outs pop out more. During the painting process, I had to go over a few times to make a good color match and have the details noticeable and match my collage.
