Artist Statement

my favorite part of this artwork is the white horse in the middle, I really like how it came out and how it looks like a horse from some Disney princess movie that was my main idea. To create this artwork I started by looking through catalogs and wallpaper books to find images I liked, I took a National Geographic horse and cut that out then found the pink and blue wallpaper with swirls that I liked. I glued the pink then the blue on and then the horse. After that I got my paint and I did the entire background pink, I then added the boxes for the blue on the sides and middle. After that I did the white swirls with lots of coats of paint and then painted the horse in the middle, some revisions I made were doing more coats of paint, and making a lighter pink to do the cloud effect in the bottom.
