This final drawing was a product of other drawing of my Nike sneakers, which I drew three different perspectives of. Then once the perspectives were drawn, I drew three zoomed in drawings of a certain section on the shoe, getting closer and closer up each time. I chose the least zoomed in version and blew it up onto a bigger paper. This connects to the world because it zoomed in to look at the small things, and sometimes in life we forget about the small things that are important.

I first used just regular pencil to draw the outline of the zoomed in drawings, and then I outlined the most prominent lines with black sharpie. Once I had some shapes and lines outlined, I went in with more pencil to create shapes and designs, and then I added color with colored pencil. I also used my sneaker and zoomed in drawings as resources.

Once all the outlines were in places and the drawing looked the same as the zoomed in ones, I began thinking about the designs that looked best, and that colors that were most fitting. I added more and more lines to creates shapes and designs and as the color was added, the abstract look began to fall into place. Some parts of the shoe were still visible and made it possible to still realize what it was, but all the added colors, designs, and shapes made it abstract. I like the patterns that I used, but I think I could've taken more time to be neater with my designs so it looked better, and possibly also deciding on colors that fit together better, but other than that I like my zoomed in abstract shoe.
