Surrealism

This piece of art is based on a collage that representing racial equality as well as lack of such. The word EQUALITY is spelled out at the top and at the bottom it says "Politics Is War."

This painting is on canvas paper and is acrylic paint. The collage is cutouts from a magazine taped onto a piece of drawing paper.

I started by doing the background shapes and colors, then I did the letters, and finished with the faces. I added on the spikes on the side in black and white to also stick with the theme and I also added the yellow outline to add more to the background. While I think it is a little messy in spots, I like the overall message it conveys.
