Painting of Surrealism Collage

The surrealism collage was a very fun project, in my opinion, I enjoyed the process of making it, and then painting it. Some people had a message with their pieces, and what I did was the exact opposite. For the college, I just chose random things that I found funny or interesting and stuck them on the paper. Other than that, I just had fun with it and even changed some things when painting it, so there was no real overall idea that I was trying to follow with this art project.

For materials in this, I used a decent amount. I used magazines and other clippings of things such as newspapers to form the college, then I used a variety of paints to paint the collage afterward. Graphite and tape were used to sketch and keep straight smooth lines respectively. I would use things like glue and tape to make the college as well.

The process of making this art piece was really simple and straightforward. I first started off by making the collage, which as mentioned earlier, I had fun with and chose random things I liked or found funny. After the college was done, I picked a canvas and taped off an area of the same size as the college, then I just painted what I saw. However, I did change a few things that would be too much detail such as faces. After I was done with the painting I took off the tape and that was it.
