For this assignment, I worked with a one-point, and two-point perspective. For a one-point perspective, you have one vanishing point, but for a two-point perspective, you have two vanishing points. There was only one out of the four I did a two-point perspective on, the other three used a one-point perspective. I drew cubes in there two points, as well as an imaginary room, then finally a real room in the school for the final assignment.
In these four drawings, I used a light 2H graphite pencil, a ruler big and small, and normal as well as big paper. I used the vanishing point as a base for the drawings, and used a ruler to connect lines, and used a light pencil so I could erase the lines easily without leaving a mess behind.
For the process of drawing these, it was mostly the same (excluding the 2-point perspective) I drew a dot as my vanishing point or figured out where it was in the photo of the school I took. After I found or drew the vanishing point, I would then draw the basic outlines of walls, the floor, and the ceiling. After I got a good outline of the room, I would add details like beams, chairs, tiling, etc. After it was all done, I would go and darken the lines and that was it. The only thing that guided my artwork was some videos online I found on how to draw some of these objects in one-point perspective, and that mast mostly it. I also came up with a room for one of the drawings, but the other one I just drew the room I saw in one-point perspective.
