Shadows and Reflections

For this assignment Mr. Anderson had us take photos of shadows and reflections. I went outside with a mirror and angled it in certain ways to take some of my pictures. I liked to focus on reflections but for shadows, I liked to use isolated things that I placed.

My favorite photo is the photo of Grace with a mirror in front of her face that reflects a plant. I love this photo's composition and the contrast of the green plant with the red wall. I also love the mystery, you don't know what her face looks like or why you can't see it. The angle that I took this from was also cool because it looks as if I'm in the plant.

I liked my reflection pictures much more than my shadow pictures because I think they look more interesting.
