I don't think a ton of strong ideas are portrayed in this piece. I feel like the titles say more than the drawing and they give it more context and meaning. The first piece is a corner of my room although I don't spend much time there the corner has changed a lot over the years. The second object relates to me because it's something I saw at a little store in Maine and my Nana bought it for me for Christmas. The last piece obviously relates to me because it's a self portrait.

For all of the pieces they started as a simple pencil sketch. The first two drawing then got water color added to them. The self portrait had more done to it like shading, details, and blending unlike the others. I chose watercolor because I thought that it'd best represent the colors I wanted to be shown.

To create the first picture I went through many different versions of my final project before I was finally done, I wasn't sure if I should add this bear that used to be there or if I should have used more details. I messed it up many times before I was able get something I was okay with. I would love to add more detail and make it better and maybe with colored pencil I'd also like to have used perspective. The second one was really just trying to follow the crazy wires and finding the best color to represent the copper tones. It originally looked a lot more fake and spread out but luckily I was able to form it into something that someone looked like the real thing. If I were to re do it I wouldn't use watercolor and I'd use way more detail. The portrait was similar to one I had drawn last year and there obviously was a lot of time shading and blending. I looked in a mirror and tried my best to grasp my features. My next steps would probably be learn some more about portraits to make it look more like me.
