Creative Color Design

This project is my creative color design. For this project it started out with me drawing two different sketches having a design that would show all colors with tints and shades. Then I picked one to draw. I took my canvas and began to draw I took a circle stencil and started with the biggest circle then moved one smaller each time till I had six circles in one on each line.

I had a check list with all of the colors to make sure I got them all so I just started at the top and worked my way down. I started with blue, I painted the whole column blue then mixed my paints to get the tints and shades. Then I did the rest of the colors. After I did all the painting I outlined the whole thing in a silver oil based Sharpie.

Over all I enjoyed making this project and I think it came out exactly like I imagined it would. I spent the most amount of time on this project that I did on any other project this quarter because of all the colors that I had to mix and make and how many coats I had to do to get them to look opaque.
