Super Veggie Man

The story behind my work was a superhero with the ability to see through vegetables. I chose a pumpkin as the fruit/vegetable because pumpkins are a food item that you could easily see inside. The design of the Superhero was inspired by Metroman from “Megamind” mixed with “Superman”. This drawing relates to my life because I love superheroes even if their powers are incredibly unhelpful and kinda dumb.

My drawing was made with a normal number 2 pencil and eraser, I wanted to test my ability to shade and draw with a normal pencil.

I started my work with a simple sketch with the help of Pinterest for the shape of the body, then I started with the shading process, shading some of the shadows and erasing some spots for the highlights. My project evolved when I started adding shadows and highlights. My next steps for this project could be adding a background.
