Hydro Flask SKSKSKSK
9 inches by 11 inches
The story behind my still life is I was in study hall and my friend had a hydro flask water bottle next to her so I started drawing it. It relates to my life because I see it almost everyday in study hall.
I made this drawing with a number 2 pencil and eraser I chose these materials because it was what I had with me at the time and it was easy to make shadows with it.
I started it with a basic sketch of the bottle, then I added the logo and the details on the top of the bottle. I then added some simple shadows. My project evolved when I was confident with my original sketch and made the lines darker and bolder. My next step would be to add a background.
Mirror Image

The story behind my self-portrait is that it is a “mirror” image of myself. This drawing relates to my life because it is me in the drawing, because it is a self-portrait.
I made the drawing with a typical number 2 pencil and eraser, I used those materials because I wanted to see how well I could replicate my image onto paper with a normal number 2 pencil.
I started my art with a sketch of my facial shape and hairline. I started on the hair next because I wanted to see where my hair would fall on my face, I then started on my eyebrows which took the longest, then the eyes and nose, and then the lips but I took the shortest amount of time on the lips. My project evolved when I added the details to my hair and other facial features. My next step would be to add more shadows and highlights on my neck and face so it doesn’t look so 2 dimensional.
Study Corner
9 inches by 11 inches
The story behind my drawing is I was in study hall and I spotted a corner in the room, 4 to be exact but I liked this corner because it had the flag in it and it was in my view to draw it. It relates to my life because I see it every other day in study hall.
Like the others this drawing was created with a number 2 pencil and an eraser, this was done to easily draw and erase any lines or designs I disliked.
I started with looking at the corner and then sketching a corner looking shape, then I added the flag and the window, I then added any designs or details I needed to add. My project evolved when I added those extra details. My next steps would be to add more shadows and details to it.
