Linear Perspective

Living Room

8" x 14" This is not the colored one.

The story behind this piece is that I had to create a classic room with one point perspective. This piece relates to my life because it was a learning experience to figure out how to make three dimensional figures using only one point.

I used a 6H pencil and eraser to create the horizon line and the sketchy lines. I then went over the other lines with a HB pencil.

I started with the horizon line and the vanishing point, then I created chairs, tables, a couch, windows, and a door. After I added those I added the shelf, rug, and picture frame. My art evolved when I erased all of my sketchy lines. My next steps would be to add more detail.
