The story behind this project is I had to follow the prompt "I show kindness by..." and I chose music as a way to show kindness. This piece relates to my life because I like music and sharing music with others to make someone's day better is a kind thing to do.

To create this piece I used only sharpie pens in a bunch of colors. I used them in many different ways to create different textures throughout the picture. Examples are the fine details on the letters and the hair on the people.

I started this piece with outlining the boy with the guitar in pencil until the proportions were to my liking, I then outlined the girl with the keyboard until it was good. I then used different sharpie pens to outline and color in the letters and the people. In the other letters I drew some music notes. My art evolved when I added the color. My next steps would be to add more detail.
