My piece explores the lineage of my family and our shared heredity. The Artwork communicates the strong ties that bind my family together. It celebrates the individuality of each family member and their specific gifts while celebrating our bonds.

I have incorporated colour symbolism that particularly points to the personality of each family member. Each person is featured in a primary view, but I have also added a second version to explore the duality of personality and expression that exists within us. The second version celebrates that we are more than just a first impression. The second figure is portrayed as a ghostly soul that dwells behind the scenes – the essence of our real selves.
