The message behind my Bow is to encourage people in our Western culture to understand traditional tribal ways of living to raise the collective consciousness of humans on earth today and encourage them to recognise the need to return to our ancestral understanding and connection to nature.

The purpose behind representing the three ancient cultures, the Aboriginal Australians, Native Americans, and the Indigenous Amazonian Indians, is to show how their beliefs are merely different interpretations of the belief in a higher power. I am expressing the need that humans crave for an eternal connection to something greater than ourselves as a way to live with purposefulness. These specific cultures have been used as vehicles to convey spiritual connections to their ancient and eternal beliefs that may have been forgotten in contemporary society.

The earth’s elements are also present individually through each artwork’s specific symbolism. Fire represents the Aboriginal Australian imagery symbolism, the Native American is Earth, and the Indigenous Amazonian is Water to reiterate the spiritual connection nature holds through all life forms. Therefore, the overall message is to nurture and connect with the earth to reach spiritual enlightenment and experience a collective rise of consciousness.
