Greetings Neighborhood Leaders,

-Urgent Request for Volunteers-

Volunteers are needed this week to help local Non-Governmental Organizations (NGO) with an influx of migrants released by DHS yesterday and throughout the week.

Volunteer needs:

· Fluent in Spanish. Not mandatory, but very helpful.

· Assist migrants in making travel arrangement with their families.

· Transport people to the bus or airport terminal and assist them at the ticket counter. Requires the use of your vehicle.

· Assist with meals.

· Provide monetary donations.

· Provide hygiene products; toothbrush, combs, feminine products, etc.

· Provide new underwear and socks. (Small – Medium)

· Provide and distribute care package items for their travels. Granola bars, baggies, fruit snacks, fruit, etc.

· General shelter assistance duties
