Proposed Sun River Estates Subdivision - 224 homes off of Girl Scout Lane.

All,

I understand from Kevin Smith, El Paso Zoning Director, that Item 18 on the City Council Agenda for this Tuesday is to task our City Manager to develop solutions both internally and with Sunland Park.

Is blocking Frontera an option?

Thank you Rep Svarzbein and Nissi for putting this item on the agenda!

Everyone - we need to show up to speak at the city council meeting on Tuesday 9.13.22 - either personally or virtually. Sign up to speak (limited to 3 minutes) and talk about all the reasons that this is not a good idea and the negative impact this assault would have on our area.

Frontera is a small collector roadway for a residential area, which is exactly how we want to keep it.  Frontera IS NOT DESIGNED TO carry huge amounts of traffic.  it would be inappropriate to widen or overbuild Frontera.

Today is Friday so we don’t have much time to discuss talking points but we have to be ready!

Respectfully,

Susan Martinez
