Counterfeit Money in El Paso

El Paso is currently seeing counterfeit money being passed in the area. The counterfeit money contains various serial numbers and banknote identifiers, but also says “FOR MOTION PICTURE USE ONLY”, on the bills. The El Paso Police Department is asking for anyone who comes into contact with this counterfeit money to call the El Paso Police immediately. The flyer attached shows a picture of the counterfeit money in a 100-dollar denomination, but the bills have been seen in 50-dollar and 20-dollar denominations in our area. As in all cases, gather as much identifying information about the individual that passed the counterfeit money and call police.
