NIP Round 3 Improvements underway at Coach Jack D. Quarles Park

Hello Zach White Neighborhood Association,

Construction for the NIP Round 3 – Coach Jack D. Quarles Park Improvements have been underway since early June, 2018.

Coach Jack D. Quarles Park will be closed for approximately four (4) months. Contractors need 3 months for construction and recommend at least an additional 30 day for the seeding to take.

The contractor has closed off both sides of the park and will be using some of the landscape boulders to block access points.

Improvements include:

• Applying 70,000 sq. ft. of Hybrid Bermuda Grass hydro-seeding (started today 7.28.18)
• Adding 2” meter and irrigation system (complete)
• Adding 25 native trees, 3” diameter, including drip system (most are planted; including Pecans, Soapberries, Chinese Pistache, and Oaks)
• Adding additional boulders (complete)
