City Planning Commission Does Not Recommend Putting River Bend Back on the MTP

Neighbors,

On Thursday, June 27, 2013, 1:30pm at City Council Chambers, the City Planning Commission heard the proposal from Fred Lopez and Kevin Smith to put River Bend Drive back on the Major Thoroughfare Plan.

The commission also heard comments from Zach White Neighborhood Association members, Love Road Neighborhood Association members, Upper Valley Neighborhood Association's President Carol Miller, and other upper valley residents.

The commission voted NOT to put River Bend back on the MTP.

Tuesday, July 2, 2013, 8:30am at City Council Chambers, 1st Floor, City Hall, 300 N. Campbell, City Council will vote on the proposal to put River Bend back on the MTP with the City Planning Commission's June 27th recommendation not to.

If you agree with keeping River Bend off the MTP join ZWNA members this Tuesday July 2nd at 8:30am at City Hall and speak out against this proposal.
